UK limited companies in Welsh!

We were interested to read recently that Companies House have set up a unit, based in Cardiff, to promote use of the Welsh language. The main goal of the unit is to support all departments at Companies House to provide a more consistent Welsh language service and to raise cultural awareness.

As part of this initiative all Welsh companies (companies with a registered office in Wales) will now receive bilingual correspondence from the beginning of their company lifecycle and from all departments across Companies House.

Here at Company Services UK, our office manager Jean is a Welsh speaker, and so we are on board with this initiative and promotion of the language!
