Register of Overseas Entities

We are an approved agent of Companies House.

Held by Companies House, the Register of Overseas Entities holds details of all overseas entities that own property or land in the UK.

You need to register on the Register of Overseas Entities if your overseas company/entity owns or buys a UK property. The registration is per entity rather than per property so if the entity owns several properties then only one registration for the entity is required.

It is a requirement of the law that before an overseas entity can be added to the register, a UK-regulated agent must complete verification checks on all of its beneficial owners or managing officers and submit its agent assurance code as part of the registration process.

If the application is approved, the entity and its beneficial owners or managing officers will be added to the Register and an email of the notice of registration will be sent. This will include the Entity ID which is to be given to the Land Registry whenever the entity buys, sells or transfers land or property in the UK.

As authorised agents we can complete the entire registration process for you. From verifying your identity to completing the Companies House registration. Our fee is £450 which is inclusive of the registration fees.
