Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)

A Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) is a partnership which is registered as a separate legal entity and obtains the benefit of limited liability protection whilst still being run as a partnership. The partners’ personal assets are protected in the event of a winding-up order.

LLPs are under no obligation to file a constitution at Companies House, and therefore their profit-sharing arrangements, decision-making structure and other internal rules remain private between the members.

An LLP does not have directors or shareholders but instead has members (partners). To form an LLP you will need a minimum of two members.

Our LLP package is £89 and includes the provision of a standard Partnership Agreement template, if requested, which can be completed and used as a general agreement between the members. (alternatively the partners can draw up their own agreement separately).
