What are the average fees for company secretarial work?

The fee we charge is dependent on the amount of work involved. For example; providing services for an older, more complex company will generally take longer than for a newly incorporated company.
As a benchmark we charge £135 for the creation and allotment of a new class of shares. This includes the provision of fully completed share certificates, minutes, notices, fully complete company registers, allotment forms, resolution, updates to PSC details if applicable and two bound copies of the new company Articles (required when creating new share classes). These are completed and sent to you in hard copy with a covering letter stating what needs signing and what is for the company records etc. This service can only be completed on paper forms and we believe all our company secretarial services are the most comprehensive and best value on the market. Whatever requirements you have we will always quote our fee in advance for your approval.

Who are the main customers for this type of work?

There are two types of customers that we have for our company secretarial services. Firstly accountants who ask us to complete and supply documents for their customers. This saves them time and removes a headache from their workload. Secondly we do work directly for company owners. As an example we can process documents to transfer shares (including applying any stamp duty), update PSC details, bring the company registers up to date and change the name of the company (perhaps following a change of management). Whether its on behalf of your clients or directly, our service is professional, cost effective and always completed in a friendly and timely manner.
 

Do I have to order each job separately?

No, we offer a tailored made, bespoke service for any situation. Whether you need to change a directors address or you want to transfer some shares, arrange a buy back of shares, change the company officers, change the company name and create a new dividend only class of shares we can help. Each job is completed to meet your requirements in a timely manor, with all documentation completed in full.
